Doodle Gallery

Everyone draws the same prompt on their phone, then votes in an anonymous gallery. Most votes makes the masterpiece. A drawing game for 2–12 players.

How to play

Each round, everyone gets the same prompt, such as “a cat stuck in a teapot”, and draws it on their own phone before the timer runs out, with a fixed colour palette, four brush sizes and a background fill. From the second round on, a twist may shake things up: draw in a single line, in black ink only, with half the time, or with only the biggest brushes.

When time is up, the gallery opens. Every drawing hangs anonymously, in a different order for each player, and everyone picks their favourite, never their own. You can also hand out three stickers: Funniest, Spot on and Most creative.

Then the artists are revealed. Each vote is worth 50 points, the drawing with the most votes becomes the round’s masterpiece for a 50-point bonus, and the drawing with the most of each sticker earns 30 more. Voting for the masterpiece earns you 15 points for a good eye. At the end, the hall of masterpieces shows the best drawing of every round, and the highest score wins.
