What's new
Every new game, language and feature we've added to Guezzer, newest first.
Full game guides and a way to reach us
- Every game page on guezzer.com is now a full guide: the rules, an example round, scoring, tips and common questions.
- “How to play” in the game links to that guide.
- You can send us feedback from your profile in the game, or use the new contact form on the About page.
- Three new blog posts: icebreaker questions, how to host a game night, and the rules of classic party games.
Off the List, American English rooms and bigger packs
- Off the List, game number fifteen: the AI seals the fifteen most obvious answers to a category, and your team scores only with valid answers it didn’t see coming. 120 categories in each language.
- Outwit the AI shows how sure the AI was and its second guess, teases you each round and hands out awards at the end.
- English rooms can now be English (UK) or English (US), each with its own questions, prices and songs.
- Bigger packs: Outwit the AI grows to 100 word boards and Tier List to about 70 themes in every language; Truth Be Told adds five new local cases per language; Higher or Lower gets local music in Portuguese, French and German. Every game’s content was checked again for mistakes.
- Truth Be Told remembers which cases each player has played and deals one nobody at the table has seen.
- A new avatar picker with Critters faces for everyone and extra styles with Guezzer Pass.
Game news by email, if you want it
- You can choose to get an email when there are new games or big updates. It’s off unless you turn it on, from sign-in or your profile.
- Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Game pages and a blog
- guezzer.com has a page for every game in all six languages, with the rules and who it suits.
- The new blog collects ideas for game nights, video calls and work socials.
Guezzer on Google Play
- The Android app is out on Google Play, in all six languages, with the same rooms as the web: friends on phones and browsers play together.
- Guezzer Pass can be bought in the app as well as on the web, and the web checkout takes promotion codes.
- One cookie choice now covers both guezzer.com and the game.
Four more languages and Guezzer Pass
- Guezzer now speaks Spanish, Portuguese, German and French as well as English and Turkish. Menus and game content are in every language, with local facts and questions where a game needs them.
- On your first visit the game picks a language from your browser and country; you can change it any time from the menu.
- Guezzer Pass: when the host has it, everyone in the room gets every setting and no ads. Free rooms keep playing, with shorter games and the default timers. The Pass comes as a 24-hour Party Pass, monthly or yearly.
Blind Card and Outwit the AI
- Blind Card: you see everyone’s card but your own. Find out yours from what others whisper to you, but one of you is a lying Jack.
- Outwit the AI: give a clue for your secret word that your friends will get and the AI won’t. It starts with about 70 word boards in Turkish and English.
- Players’ text only goes to AI providers that don’t store it or train on it.
How to play, in every game
- Every game has a “How to play” sheet, and a help button during the game explains the screen you’re on.
- Players can vote in the lobby for the game they want next.
- Games carry Popular and New badges in the game list.
- Evidence in Truth Be Told now comes as illustrated photo scenes, with more time to read it.
Five new games, twelve in all
- Tier List: everyone ranks the same category from S to F in secret, and the closest to the group’s list wins. Over 40 categories in each language.
- Faker: everyone gets the same secret word except one player. Give one-word clues, talk it over and vote out the faker.
- Doodle Gallery: everyone draws the same prompt, the drawings are rated anonymously, and the group votes for the best one and hands out award stickers. The canvas has an eraser and ignores your palm on a tablet.
- Vanished: an original deduction game. A treasure is gone; question each other, rule things out and name who, where and how. Eleven cases in each language.
- Truth Be Told: a cooperative mystery where every player saw a different piece of the same event. Twenty-six scenarios in each language.
- Discussion games get a shared chat, so you can argue it out in the room.
Player reports and a word filter
- In the app, you can report a player from their card in the room. Reports reach us with the room and the player’s name, so we can look into them, and you can also block a player on your phone.
- A word filter keeps offensive words out of player names, Wavelength clues and custom questions in How Well Do You Know Me?
Guezzer opens with seven games
- Seven party games to play in the browser: Closest Wins, Price Check, Wavelength, Timeline, Higher or Lower, Song Battles and How Well Do You Know Me?
- One person opens a room and everyone joins with the code or an invite link, each on their own phone. Nobody needs an account: guests get a name and an avatar to start with.
- You can sign in with Google or an email code to keep your name and avatar across devices.
- Turkish and English from day one. Closest Wins has 300 questions and Timeline about 350 events in each language, all fact-checked; How Well Do You Know Me? has packs of 80 questions.
