Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use Guezzer: this website, the web game at play.guezzer.com and our mobile apps. By playing, you agree to them, so please give them a quick read.
Guezzer is run by Nexisia (“we”, “us”), Flat 52 Windsor House, 4 Fairfield Avenue, Staines-Upon-Thames, TW18 4JW, United Kingdom. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Guezzer is a collection of party games to play with friends. It is provided “as is” and “as available”: we work hard to keep it running and fun, but we can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, add or remove games and features, or stop offering Guezzer altogether.
2. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 where the law of your country requires it. You can play as a guest or sign in with an email code or Google. Keep your email account and devices safe: anyone who can use them can use your Guezzer account.
3. Play fair
When you use Guezzer, don't:
- choose a name, or type clues, questions or answers, that are abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, threatening or otherwise illegal, or that pretend to be someone else;
- share other people's personal information without their permission;
- cheat, use bots, scripts or other automation, or exploit bugs to get an advantage;
- try to disrupt, overload or break into Guezzer or other players' games, or copy our content with automated tools.
If you break these rules, we may remove what you typed, rename you or remove you from a room, and suspend or delete your account.
4. Who owns what
- Guezzer's games, questions, design, software, name and mascot belong to Nexisia or our licensors. You may use them to play Guezzer, but not copy or reuse them elsewhere without our permission.
- What you type in a game (clues, custom questions and answers) stays yours. You allow us to use it only as needed to run the game in your room, for example to show it to the other players. We don't publish it.
- You are responsible for what you type, so only share things you have the right to share.
5. Third-party content
Some games use information from other companies: product names, pictures and prices from retailers, and music details, previews and streaming numbers from services such as Apple and Spotify. This information is a snapshot taken on a certain date and shown for entertainment. It may be out of date or inaccurate, so please don't rely on it when you buy something or make any other decision.
Product names, brands and trademarks belong to their owners. Their appearance in Guezzer doesn't mean that they endorse Guezzer or are connected with us. Links to other services, such as “Listen on Apple Music”, are covered by those services' own terms.
6. Our responsibility to you
Guezzer is free to play and meant for personal entertainment. Because of that, we are not responsible for:
- losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you started using Guezzer;
- business losses, such as lost profits or business interruption;
- lost scores, results or other game data;
- problems caused by your device, your internet connection or third-party services, including those in section 5;
- events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
7. Leaving Guezzer
You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or launch our apps. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will announce significant changes on this website or in the game before they take effect. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree with them, please stop using Guezzer.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings there. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, for example in the European Union or Türkiye, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
